Becky Tew, BSN, MS

Has been Director of Student Health Services since 1994. Her past medical experience includes: medical-surgical nursing, nursing administration, and nursing education. In addition to administrative duties, she works in the Women's Health Clinic as an expanded role nurse.

June Battiato, LPN
Joined the Student Health Services in 2000. She has many years experience in public health and immunizations and 44 years experience in Women's Health. She works closely with Student Health Services, Physicians, and provides patient care triage and immunizations.

Ellen McDaniell, RN
Joined the Student Health Center in 1998. She is an expanded role nurse and provides care in the Women's Health Clinic. She has many years of experience in public health nursing.

Carol Mentz, Medical Secretary

Joined the Student Health Services at CSU in 2004. She has many years experience in the administrative, secretarial, and medical field, along with an extensive customer service background.

Ruthie Jowers, LPN
Joined the Student Health Services at CSU in 2005. She has many years experience in public health and immunizations. She works closely with Student Health Services physicians and expanded role nurses, providing patient care services, triage, and immunizations.

• Specializes in family practice.
• Originally is from Columbus, Georgia.
• Private practice is located on Wynnton Rd.

Joe Lewis, MD

• Was a pharmacist prior to becoming a physician.
• Completed his residency in Columbus, Georgia and now specializes in family practice.
• Originally from Pittsburgh and moved to Columbus and began practicing in 1995.
• Private practice is located on River Road.

Mark Sexton, MD

• Completed his residency in Columbus and now specializes in family practice.
• Originally from San Diego and moved to Columbus and began practicing in 1995.
• Private practice is located on River Road.
