Women's Health Clinic
The Women’s Health program is provided in collaboration with the state Department of Public Health and is a satellite of the Muscogee County Health Department. The Women's Health Clinic is not financed by student health fees. Fees for this service are assessed on a sliding scale basis determined by the Muscogee County Health Department.
Prospective patients should know:
- The clinic is staffed by certified women’s health nurses.
- All discussions are confidential.
- Medical records are not part of your university record.
- All visits are by appointment only, including those to obtain refills.
- Annual physical exams will take at least an hour.
- A screening nurse consultation is available on a walk-in basis.
- Doctors are not available during semester breaks.
Services Offered
- Annual examination, including Pap test.
- Birth control, including oral contraceptives, diaphragms and Depo-Provera.
- Sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing.
- Pregnancy testing and referral.
- Infection, testing, evaluation and treatment.
